Amazon is bigger than ever.

The e-commerce giant has more than 100 million Amazon Prime subscribers worldwide, Chief Executive Jeff Bezos divulged on Wednesday in his annual shareholders letter.

It is the first time in the 13-year history of Prime that Amazon has released any sort of statistics relating to the popular subscription program.

Prime gives customers access to free two-day shipping as well as its Prime Video and Music streaming platforms.

Bezos wrote that Amazon shipped “more than five billion items with Prime worldwide,” and noted that the service expanded in 2017 to Mexico, Singapore and the Netherlands.

Prime had its best year in 2017, Bezos said in the letter — revealing it signed up more subscribers to its $99-a-year service during that year than in any other year.
